Help! too much salt in my neti

tootercat Posted 2008-05-10 4:26 PM (#107236) Subject: Help! too much salt in my neti Ouch! My sinuses are now miserable! Silly me I thought I remembered the proper amount to put in and I made big boo boo! I was "showing off" to my hubby how to use and didn't reread instructions (have only used twice before) and I feel like I jumped into a swimming pool or worse, the ocean, and now i'm lightheaded and congested......What to do??? It's actually not stinging anymore but my eyes are still watering and I feel like I've been swimming all day.... BIG LESSON LEARNED! Any way to relieve this or is it a "it will fix itself after awhile"? Oh great now my right ear feels plugged - it was run through my right nostril...any correlation? Any advise will be greatly appreciated!
