Subject: Sun Salutations Questions


What is the best way to learn the diffrent postures at home? By committing them to memory or practice? Thanks and blessings!

Of course if you practice incorrectly you will still commit to memory:-) Then someone will not only have to teach you but unteach you as well.

If you work alone,break the movement down in to components. You will need a good reference book. Can you play a DVD. Practice practice practise. It is best to do a short course first with
a qualified teacher so as to ensure you are moving and braething correctly. Movements should be fluid and in your personal range of flexibility

after u learn the basics, there are many variations u can bring into it if u choose
