Location: A Blue State | If you follow the later sequences in Light on Yoga, you find that they all start with the full Sirsasana cycle followed by the full Sarvangasana cycle. That's about 50-60 minutes of inversions before you even begin the day's specific practice. On the other hand, he leaves the standing asanas out of these sequences as well. I'm told that BKS no longer recommends doing Sarvangasana before a practice of backbends, only after. So, things change... .. bg |
