Huddersfield does sound frightfully English however, there are plenty of firghtfully English sounding names of towns and cities in greater North America, as well |

| oops!! Sorry about that, I bunched all you North Americans all together.
Three of my aunts moved to Canada about forty years ago and now have citizenship (and the accent). When they visit the U.K and someone asks 'where in America are you from?' they get very upset!
