| Hi All,
I've been doing yoga for a few years now and it's been great in keeping healthy.
My mother has been dealing with Sciatica for a while now, and I just realized that maybe YOGA is the answer for her. She lives in a small town where there is no yoga studio. She is 65 years old.
Is there a specific type of yoga that she should try?
Are there are DVDs out there for beginner yoga students with a focus on back problems?
Are there any lists of poses out there that deal with Sciatica specifically?
Thank you in advance for your suggestions!
sincerely,
jules

| her best bet is with a teacher--could you find a teacher who would be willing to go to her for private instruction? (yogaalliance.com has a list of teachers).
i would recommend iyengar or anusara, personally. books might be best. | |
