| Did you discuss only the absolute yoga series? What about hot vinyasa or hot flow- is he opposed to you teaching those too? |

| The most important rule is that there are no rules. Nature rules at the end of the day. ofcourse if you sign for something like that you are restricting your freedom to teach or be as you really are. |

| I am considering other teacher training progammes. I know the 'hot yoga doctor' has one and there is a hot yoga teacher training in Thailand that both appeal to me.???

Location: Khon Kaen, Thailand | Absolute is a BIG, rich, successful chain of studios. The facilities are beautiful, well-appointed and POSH. The fluffy white towels in the changing room are intimidating! They are also VERY expensive comparatively. If I remember correctly, a drop-in class is 600 THB (around US$20), however they are quick to offer generous incentives for various packages. If you live in the West, that may not sound costly, but it is comparatively. I think a drop-in at the (accredited) Iyengar Studio in Bangkok is only 400 or 450 THB. My local studio in Khon Kaen is 250 THB. I couldn't comment on the quality of instruction, but I suspect there is a fairly homogeneous talent pool of free-lance instructors in Thailand who may work for more than one studio in order to generate full-time income, and may have studied with and/or worked for several studios in the past. The quality of the instruction would, I reckon, be more determined by the talent and the integrity of the individual instructors rather than the studio.
Thailand is a VERY nice, very affordable place to do yoga . . . or anything else!
